DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.

Deafies in Drag
Selena Minogue and Casavina are two deaf, Latinx drag queens who make up the deaf comedy duo, Deafies in Drag. They both met at only deaf university in whole world, Gallaudet University and felling in love with each other. They discovered that they have a lot common interest such as filming, acting, art, and drag. They started post video making fun on their deaf experience but they soon discovered the positive, inclusive impact their work had for the deaf community and started to use their platform to educate others on the life of the deaf.
